Charla Orientación Universitaria y Bachillerato

Hoy en día los alumnos están muy preocupados por su futuro, por la nueva ley de educación, los cambios y se preguntan : ¿Qué estudio? ¿Qué ocurre con la LOMCE? ¿La "revalida"? ¿Qué grados hay en la Universidad y cómo accedo con mi nota?...

Para ayudarles en todas estas cuestiones tuvimos el placer de compartir una conferencia con D. Juan Luís Benítez, profesor de la Universidad de Granada, el cual informó a padres y alumnos de muchos aspectos. La charla terminó con la resolución de preguntas personales por parte de los alumnos y también de algunos padres, resultando en una mañana muy

fructífera en la que el objetivo era ayudar a tomar las mejores decisiones en cuanto a su futuro próximo y no tan lejano como es la Universidad.

Nervios, emoción y superación




¡Què semana! Y por fin llegò! Los alumnos del Colegio Lux Mundi de 6º EPO a 1º de Bach toman los exàmenes de la Universidad de Cambridge. Se han estado preparando en las propias clases de inglés a lo largo de las semanas junto a sus compañeros. Se veían muchos nervios, y emociones a flor de piel porque se evalúan las cuatro habilidades básicas "Reading & Writing; Listening y Speaking" nada más y nada menos. Tomorrow(mañana) Speaking!! Buena suerte!!! GOOD LUCK!

Concurso Matemático Pangea es uno de los concursos matemáticos más extendido en Europa. En el año 2015 participaron 18 paises con un total de 435363 estudiantes de toda Europa!!!! lo cual lo convierte en uno de los concursos con mayor número de participantes.

Nuestro compañero de clase de 4ºESO A - Gonzalo García Ruiz se ha posicionado en este año 2016:

Gonzalo es un gran alumno, compañero de toda la clase, con iniciativa, deportista, curioso y muy trabajador. Le encantan también los idiomas y reciéntemente partició en el Intercambio de nuestro Colegio con Estados Unidos "Overlux Intercambio" en Seattle. Cuando nos enteramos en clase no quisimos pasar el momento y hacernos una foto con él junto con un gran aplauso. ¡Ahora, tiene que ir a Madrid! ¿Qué le depará el futuro? Quién lo sabe pero yo opino que "TO INFINITY AND BEYOND...!!!"

Farewell-Overlake School Flies back

We said goodbye to our American friends this early morning. Overlake School is Flying back to the States to the magnificent city of Seattle. It has been great to have them at our school during these days. We will miss you all.. And see you soon!!

Overlake School students arrival - "The Overlux Intercambio"

A few days ago American students from "The Overlake School" in Seattle got to Granada. Upon arrival they were received by our Lux Mundi students & families with a huge banner at the bus station. When the overlakers got off the bus they fell into each other's arms and hugged for a long time. It's the continuation of a friendship that started in Seattle a couple of weeks ago.

The following day they all enjoyed the Lux Mundi school festivity with churros con chocolate, games, gymkhanas, workshops...
