To my students of 2nd Bachillerato-2013

Queridos alumnos de 2º de Bachillerato-2013,

Quiero daros las gracias por tantos años que hemos pasado juntos. ¡Cuanto hemos aprendido juntos, tanto en Inglés, como personas... Espero haberos transmitido que el "Inglés is cool" y que no es tan dificil como parece.  ¡Cómo olvidar cuando en 6º epo realizasteis la obra del Rey León! y fijaros ahora.. acabáis 2º de bachiller. Tampoco olvidaré "our tie party" cuando fui vuestro tutor en 1º de ESO, nuestras clases,  .
El próximo año habréis empezado la Universidad y viviréis unos de los mejores años de vuestras vidas, sin embargo, no quiero que olvidéis de donde venís: del Colegio Lux Mundi. Siempre me tendréis aquí para lo que necesitéis. ¡Comeros el mundo, triunfad, no tengáis miedo! Cuando uno trabaja duro, llega lejos, y vosotros lo conseguiréis.
Truly, I will miss you all next year... De verdad, ¡Os voy a echar de menos el año que viene!

Hoy a primera hora en clase hemos guardado un minuto de silencio y rezado por las victimas de tanta atroz e injusto ataque. Os mandamos nuestra fuerza, apoyo y pésame desde el Colegio Lux Mundi - Granada - Spain. Los alumnos también han querido dejar unas palabras para vosotros

Hoy rezamos por aquellas personas humildes , sin culpa de nada que no merecian la perdida de ningun familiar o los que han sufrido este terrible accidente a causa de personas injustas. Me gustaria que ellos no pierdan la felicidad ni esperanza por esta tragedia.
 Today we pray for all modest people , without being the victim's fault that they didn't deserve their family loss or people that suffered this terrible accident by unfair people. I would like that they don't lose the happiness and the hope because of this tragedy.

Holy Week Floats "Pasos de Semana Santa" Colegio Lux Mundi

Nuestros alumnos de primaria de 3º - 4º y 5º recrean algunos pasos de Semana Santa "Holy Week Floats" con muñecos, figuras o cajas que ellos mismos reciclan. Tal fue el expectacular trabajo que hicieron que aparecen en el periódico IDEAL.

Chefs at 1ºESO - Love Sandwiches!!!!

Great Sandwiches prepared by my students at 1ºESOA. I will add soon more recipes!

LUCIA´S VEGETARIAN SANDWICH `` LUVEG´´

You need: two pieces of a baguette,jalapeños,york ham,lettuce,tomatoe and goat cheese.

Before you start take out all the ingredients and later wash your hands,please!!!!!!! First cut two pieces of a baguette.I´m not going to add any butter,because I don´t like it in a sandwich.

Then wash and cut the ingredients.The lettuce has to be cut very small, and the tomatoe,as well.Next put it all betwen the two pieces of the baguette.Finally serve it with a great and fresh lemonade or an orange juice.I like to use my hands to eat!!!!!

George's vegetal sandwich
You need: two slices of Bimbo bread, a little bit of mayonnaise, a can of tuna, lettuce, one tomato and some olives.
Before you start, don't forget to wash your hands!
First, spread mayonnaise on the bread. Then wash the lettuce and the tomato very well, they can be very dirty. Next, put four or five slices of tomato and one leaf of lettuce. After that, open the can of tunain the sandwich. Finally, cut some olives and put them in the sandwich. If you want to decorate it, stick it with an olive sticked in a little stick. Serve it with a juice with a straw. You can put chips on a bowl.

MIXTO WITH EGG
Ingredients:
-four slices of bread
-one egg
-two lettuce leave
-a slice of ham
-a slice of a cheddar cheese
-salt
-butter
Firts we put the butter on the bread and then we toast the bread. After that we put on the bread one slice of cheese and ham. Next, we close with other slice of the bread and we put lettuce and the frich egg on the top. After that we close the sandwich with the third slice of bread .In the third slice we do circle in the bread with the edge of a small glass.Then we take the bread after that we can eat the egg .Finally we eat the sandwich.It is delicious !

You need:5 slice of bread,3 slice of cheese,serran jam,2 slice of sausage,3 slice of jam york and 3 eggs.

Before you start,don't forget to wash your hands!First,fry all the eggs then put the slice of cheese on the bread .Then put the jam over the slice of cheese.Next,add the eggs and the jam york on the slice of bread.After that,do this successively.Finally,serve it with a glass of water or a soft drink like diet coca.You can eat it with a knife and fork but I like to use my hands.

Hello my students!!

WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL!!! 

2012 -2013

How was your summer? I hope you had lots of fun!! Un nuevo año acaba de empezar y que ilusión hace volver a clase, veros a tod@s,  encontrarte con tus amigos, comerte ese bocata, ver a tus profesores...

Este año hay un montón de novedades, pero la más importante sin duda es que nuestro Colegio Lux Mundi se ha convertido en centro examinador de la Universidad de Cambridge. Podemos prepararnos y examinarnos para obtener los certificados: Starters, Movers, Flyers, KET, PET, FIRST, ADVANCED y PROFICIENCY. Toda una oportunidad que no debéis perder antes de que acabéis en el Colegio.

Os deseo que hayáis comenzado con buen pie y mis mejores deseos para este nuevo año 2012-13. En próximos días iré añadiendo más información sobre el Cambridge.

Como ya sabéis el nuevo anuario ya está a la venta. Lo podéis adquirir en la secretaría del centro y también me pondré en las clausuras de Primaria e Infantil. El precio del yearbook no ha cambiado, cosa la cual, en estos tiempos  de crisis ayuda.
