NEW CHAT on the BLOG

Hello Boys and Girls!
You have a new feature(característica) on the blog. Many of you asked me to place one on the blog ,so here it goes: The "classes chatbox room". It is a normal chat where you can talk with your friends or practice your English in computer class. Just(sólo) enter your name and write your message under that box. You can also add "smiley faces"!!
It´s on the right hand side of the blog, under the "some pictures/photos 08-11"

PROYECTO INTEGRADO: 2nd TERM - Students/Teacher Interviews

              •  Dateline: Thursday, February 24th,2011.

• Project to do with a partner in Spanish and its translation in English.

• Material:

 Questions for 4 students or 3 students + 1teacher

 Photo camera (permission from me, left at teachers room b4 classes)

 Pendrive to turn in your project.

 Creative minds mean creative questions to get great answers.

• Interview: Students or Teachers from School. From elementary students to high school.

• GRADE: In order to get an “A” (10) you must turn in the project on Word , Spanish-English.

 Creative questions.

 Avoid YES-NO questions.

 Different topics. Different interviewed students.

 Photo of the interviewer and interviewee in the folder.

 Correct grammar and spelling. This aspect will influence your final grade.

Proyecto Integrado Inglés: UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

En parejas escoged un estado perteneciente a EEUU y realizad las siguientes tareas:

• Trabajo escrito en inglés, mecanografiado y folios en blanco.
• Debe recoger: localización, población, territorio, cultura, gastronomía, monumentos, aspectos lingüísticos (acento, vocabulario específico..etc), equipos deportivos, personajes importantes que hayan nacido en ese estado.
• Se premiará originalidad y profundidad.
• Presentación en formato "powerpoint" en inglés, no más de 10 min por pareja.
• No es un trabajo de "copia-pega" de internet. Si es así, será sancionado con la nota mínima (0)
• Se evaluará el progreso realizado en cada una de las clases.

Migas Festivity - Fund Raiser

El pasado sábado tuvo lugar en el colegio las migas solidarias que celebramos todos los años. Estas tienen como objetivo ayudar a recaudar fondos para la Pastoral Universitaria que desde hace años van con destino a paises del tercer mundo. Específicamente el año pasado fue Bolivia.

Fue un momento muy entrañable en el que padres, alumnos, directiva, profesores, familiares y el padre Villena compartieron unas ricas migas. Además hubo una tómbola, en la que además de un montón de premios, se sorteó una bicicleta.
